The family of St. Andrew gathers in Christ to worship and praise God, and to serve and witness to others. We are a welcoming, inclusive neighborhood congregation. We follow a traditional liturgy and celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday! Please join us!
Worship in the time of COVID-19. On March 15, 2020, St. Andrew began holding worship services online using Zoom. We will continue with online services until further notice.
Join us online on Wednesday evenings during Lent at 6:30. We begin the evening by coming together at home for Soup Supper, a tradition at St. Andrew during this time before Easter. Following Soup Supper, a brief service is celebrated by participating in Holden Evening Prayer.
Pastor Piro did preaching to an empty sanctuary. The health and safety of our congregation members is our highest priority. Our in-house and at-home tech team has made tremendous strides in perfecting the audio/visual quality of our services that continue to be delivered via Zoom. They have worked to upgrade or replace the camera, microphones, computers and in-house video capabilities. After we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we anticipate that we will continue to use Zoom to bring our services to who are unable to attend in person.
Palm Sunday
In preparation for the COVID-19-impacted Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, a group of volunteers gathered to deliver materials to our parishioners for holy week and these two Sundays that are special in the lives of Christians everywhere.
Christmas Eve Worship Service
Advent – That time of year when the Christian world awaits the birth of the Christ child. Beginning on the fourth Sunday before Christmas, we celebrate Advent through activities and observations, including the lighting of the Advent candles and following the days until Christmas on an Advent calendar. 2020 is different. Since the St. Andrew congregation cannot celebrate the season together, Pastor Piro put together bags of Advent related items. Included, are an advent calendar, a book of devotions, a small table-top Advent wreath, etc. The bags were delivered to all congregation members by our ever-faithful drivers.
Come worship with us in this wonderful, intimate setting.
